Portland - OEM perforated exhaust mod

Anyone in the Portland area with an E9x done this? Would love to hear it in person before deciding to take the plunge.

Would also be looking for a shop recommendation to do the job.

Thanks

I have the OEM exhaust mod. I'm in Beaverton.

I've had quite a few compliments on how it sounds, including a county sheriff that pulled up next to me at a light.

I don't have the mod, but wanted to say hi to some fellow Portlanders. I live in Beaverton as well, and work in Hillsboro at Intel.

Maybe we could do a small meet-up. Say hi and check our each other's cars/listen to exhausts. Anyone else interested?

I'm up for meeting.

I bought the exhaust from another forum member in Seattle. If you're looking at having it done locally, I would give PSI out in Hillsboro a call. Their fab work is of very high quality. I'm positive they could do it no problem.

I'm in for a meet up! I'm really excited for any opportunity to hear, in person, different exhaust options.

I live in SE, but am willing to head over to the Westside. Any ideas where would be a good place to meet?
Another option would be to meet up Sat morning and cruise over to one of the two Cars and Coffee meets. But if the weather is being a dick it may not be worth it.

I'm at RA, working supplier-side at D1X/D1D; instructing TMG how to use the tools

I'd gladly meet up for a cruise into the Tigard C&C! Maybe meet at Washington Square?

So how does Washington Square at 9am sound? Check out exhausts then cruise over to Tigard C&C for a bit.

From previous experience, Tigard C&C wraps up around 10:15-30. Ideally the group would roll out of Washington Square ~ 09:10 for a 09:25 arrival? If that were the case, meeting earlier might be proposed In any event, as I'm not the organizer, I'll show whenever!

After looking at the map, there appears to be a Best Buy (and large parking lots) across 217 from Washington Square, so those coming SB 217 Saturday morning can take the exit, meet there, and then the whole group immediately hop back onto 217 headed in the correct orientation. Here it is on the map: googlez

How might that work? I figure many of the shops won't yet be open, so finding one another certainly wouldn't be hard.

Works for me. So Best Buy parking lot, across 217 from Washington Squire at 8:45. Hang out, listen to exhausts, then cruise over to C&C.

Called PSI, it is definitely something they can do, but their fab dept is swamped. Likely 5-6 weeks out. I think I’m going to have Rhom Innovations do the work. I've heard good things about them.

Ok. Best Buy 8:45.

I'm not surprised they're backed up. The main fabricator (can't remember his name) produces welds that a work of art. Cleanest work I've ever seen.

They're an authorized installer for UGR's Gallardo TT kits. So they definitely know their stuff. Walking through their shop is car porn, assuming you ignore the drift cars. Haha
