anyone ever done an x-pipe (retain primary cats) + stock exhaust mod?
The exhaust is a bit louder with just an x-pipe, so curious on noise with the mod as well. Don't want my DD to be too loud |

Yes, I am delivering it to Portland on Saturday.
I will miss this car big time but it is going to someone who will appreciate her as much as I did.

go to CNC in Kirkland!!
check out CNC in kirkland, new 8k sq ft shop. I have done work with them with my STI M3 and CTS-V. They are really personal with your car and what you want done and how you want it. Talk with Joel there and let him know Julian sent ya over.

It's been a few months so here's another bump to see if anyone has had this done recently at any shops. I've called CNC and they said they haven't done one but they could do it for around $400-500. Cantrell Motorsports thinks it will be a total 4-5 hour job which is $440-550. Group2 Motorsports hasn't done one yet (although I'm sure they could). I'm ready to get this done and I'm leaning toward trying Bucky's on Aurora since Kao had it done at their shop in Auburn. Any thoughts?

Speedware Motorsports has done it before and they're actually doing one right now when I called. They said the middle cut out with replacement of the large perforated pipe method is about a 6 hour job. That's definitely not worth it to me. I wish I liked the Megan sound better because that thing is a steal. I guess I need to hear one in person.
