No worries! I know that 3-4 other people have gone and gotten it done, and they've been really happy with the results.

The shop has also found a quicker way to do it without even removing the exhaust, so the time to do it is a bit less than my original install.

Jump on it! Call and talk to Rick and he'll get you sorted.

Even better! This mod paired with the EAS tips is perfect!

I'll give them a call in the next few weeks.

Which tips did you get? Extended or normal?

Anyone in the Renton/Maple Valley area have this mod? I'd still like to hear it in person if I could.

The other 2 don't have enough perforation in them to really matter, or be replaced. I only replaced the larger perforated pipes myself.

Yea but you're already in there. Why not just do all of it. That's just my opinion.

Makes sense, and do you know if they actually replaced the pipes or just wielded some sleeve over ?

For mine, they cut out most of the pipes and welded on new steel ones.

I'm looking to do this again. Anyone know anyone with welding skills or any shops in the tacoma to olympia area that can do this? I bought a separate oem exhaust to do this.

Hey I dropped my exhaust off earlier today in Lakewood and it won't be ready til Monday (closed at 4pm and not open on Sunday's). It's a little shop on Bridgeport and South Tacoma Way. I'm only paying $150. I'm also doing the ACM mod. I can tell him I know someone else and he could probably do it for you too. But I doubt it will be for $150. It'll probably be more like $200 or so though. Still cheap. Last time I modded my exhaust, I paid almost $400 just like everyone else.

I don't have a spare OEM one to give so I don't think I can drop off for a few days

also. when you have it completed, mind if we meet up so I can hear in person?

Can you PM me the name of the shop too?

Also, I'm thinking about eliminating the secondary cats. Has anybody done that? Does it sound good with the ACM mod? I'm keeping the resonators, I don't want any rasp. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I got this done 2 weeks ago. I actually asked them to put the stuffing back and it sounded awesome. Highly recommended.
