Update: The nameless person who has been assisting with pushing her over the edge has done such a number on her that now every time she misplaces something everyone gets blamed for taking and/or hiding it. For example, today her access badge to get inside the building has gone missing, now it's everyone else's fault and everyone is being accused. She even went as far as to have the maintenance supervisor watch video surveillance footage to see if he could tell where she put her card after entering the building this morning.

The adage of "If everyone you meet is an asshole, maybe they aren't the asshole" comes to mind.

Her cell phone? No one can pry it from those articulated sausages on the end of her hooves.

She did not find her access badge. HR is making her a new one. This may be a stroke of genius on her end though. By claiming that someone has taken her access badge she can come and go as she pleases and blame it on someone playing a trick on her.....although I'm sure I give her too much credit. She never actually figured out how to request time off this morning.

The company that we order pallets from has just changed their ordering process. Before, we had to call them with PO #'s and set up delivery which to me is ridiculous, also fax machines are for dinosaurs but that's another story. While she was out of the office last week, I used the new system of ordering pallets. Pretty straight forward. I emailed their customer service department, got my username and password, clicked the link for the site, entered credentials, set up the order and deliveries. To order for the entire week took less than the phone call. Today was her first time placing orders on their new portal. She has asked for help from everyone in the office this morning, except from me. Finally when she gave up because no one else had access or had ever used this process, I went over and showed her how to do it. The student has become the teacher and she doesn't like it. I just received an email stating that someone from our pallet company will be here to show us how to use their new portal next week. Her boss then sends me an email letting me know that I need to be involved on learning how to do this. I don't have the heart to tell them I have already created a PDF with screenshots on the entire process. I'm beyond underutilized and overlooked.

I concur. I wrestle between doing nothing and overlooking them, as trying to explain anything to people like this is an exercise in futility, or speaking up and explaining that everything they do and say is beyond backward and counterproductive. By saying or doing nothing makes me feel like a pansi, but at the same time it comes at a cost of my sanity in being the outcast.

My point, take the worlds best lyricist and put them in a room of country musicians and they will soon become the outcast regardless of their talent.

I hear you OP, and working remotely from home for the past four years or so has absolutely destroyed me. I'll never be able to work in an office environment again. Working from home is basically a 24/7 ordeal, but anytime I don't feel like working another 15 hour day I just think of all the miserable things that occur while working in an office. Hell just the time I save not having to commute every single day is worth it!

It's basically impossible not to get stuck with some shithead co-worker onsite like you're dealing with now. What a terrible spot to be in and I feel your pain, believe me.

Working from home or just go full bum and never work again, there's no in between for me any longer!

I can respect that! As I've stated before, I still have a few things that I need to iron out financially before I make any kind of a bold move but the past few years has definitely taught me what I don't want out of life. Within the next 2 years I plan to make big changes.
