Throttle Actuator Rebuild service
Hey guys,
Just wanted to see how many of forum members here have actually replaced their Actuators from MPower Motorsports? I will likely order a set but little bit scared about deviating from stock but at the same time, I would like to solve the problem rather than waiting for it to come back couple of years later, plus its cheaper than OEM. Thanks |

I plan on installing the actuators this weekend, but have heard nothing but good things about them.
Note that MPower Motorsports is just a North American provider for rebuild.org.uk actuators. You can look into their reviews too.

The correct solution is to purchase them from FCP Euro so you get a lifetime warranty from a company that has been around and will continue to be around for a long time. I firmly believe these refurb units are a bandaid and may work for some, but for a questionable amount of time.

Another satisfied customer as well. Abdul is a great guy to deal with. If you look at his thread on the m5board, many people are raving about his product there as well. If you need actuators and would like to save more than 300 dollars vs new ones, then buy with confidence from them. Also offers lifetime warranty.
P.S. Few threads have reviews about their products already. Just do a quick search and you will them. |

Buddy of mine ordered 2 TAs and the packaging was terrible. 1 TA was in a plastic bag, the other was somewhat covered in bubble wrap. Both were together in a large box with no additional packaging which allowed to TAs to flop around freely. They'll be installed soon, hopefully no issues.

Thanks for all the great feedback and reviews. It is possible that my early shipments did not have the same packaging as the new ones. As I was still trying to figure the exact box size and bubble wrap to secure the units. I nailed that down for the last 2 months. So this will never be an issue.

Purchased a rebuilt actuator from Abdul a month ago and is running perfectly with no issues. My car had issues that came up coincidentally after the install that were ultimately unrelated but Abdul sent me Another actuator for me to diagnose any issues. Great service and would not hesitate to purchase.

Are you buying cores? I have an actuator with less than 6k miles on it and looks brand new, but still threw a code. PM me if you want it.

I got their TAs put in yesterday. I am local to them so I just had them do the work as well. It was super easy to work with them and the tech (Paul) was a wicked good dude. He was quick and thorough. It's hard to beat the price and the warranty. Hats off to them for coming up with an affordable solution to one of the few issues we have on this platform!
