Yeah, I'm in Wendell, about 30 minutes away. I'd love to do a fun meet.

I'm in Cary. I've seen 5 other E9X's in town lately. For the longest I thought there was just 1 other (with nice mods), but they've been popping up just the last few weeks. Must be the weather.

I'm interested but it will depend on my son's basketball schedule. He's got a tournament in Durham this weekend. At least you're suggesting the closer side of Raleigh. Keep me posted.

Unfortunately I'm in Atlantic Beach with my family, and I'll be in South Topsail Beach for the 4th, WITHOUT MY CAR!!! It's driving my friggin' nuts!

just got my SG E90 this past Feb. Need to get the 30k service done. Any recommendations? I guess it really is just either Leith or Performance. And what all do they do during the 30k service?

Been driving a bit? Performance sells more M's and probably services more of them. I met one of the mechanics that has an M himself. They seem to be enthusiasts around there. That said, it's not all perfect. My SA is bad about callbacks.

I bought my car from Leith and was having it serviced there, but now I just drive it down to Schaeffer in Wilmington. I know a guy down there and he's way better than any other SA.

i just moved here last here and have been taking my car to performance, so far its been good. i tried out valley autoworld in fayetteville once, never again.

Well my parents have a beach house in South Topsail Beach, about 45 minutes away from Wilmington, and I'm down here every few weeks. So I just always do it that way.

I've been in the M since December last year. 335I was totaled. I would be interested in having a meet sometime. Leith is my choice to take the car to. Heather Drake is my SA. She is awesome.

What do you know about the technicians? With a 2008 I guess you've had yours serviced there a while.

She was my SA also, and she's good, but Bob Barfield at Schaeffer BMW is well worth the drive. He's become a good friend to me and my best friend who's had an E46 M3, Z4M coupe, 545i and now an '07 335i. He's taken very good care of my buddy, and now me.

Leith is good, but I had my car in there for 2 weeks with a HDD issue, and it took me calling each time to get info. Granted, Heather did call me to apologize for not calling me at all. But still, it annoyed me. However, the tech I had was good. He came out and we talked a few things about my car, and he seemed to really be a good one.
