I've been getting by with these ac delco sandwich torque meters. I have a 1/2 and 3/8. The 3/8 is handy for measuring the lower thresholds like 10 ft/lbs for things like rotor hats.

oh, these are really cool for working on the bench. It looks like if you have the access it is a very nice thing to have

That's pretty clever. Might grab one of those.

In connection to torque wrench, are these crowfoot wrenches useful?

I have that exact set. I rarely use. What nuts or bolts are you thinking you'd need these for?

I've bought one crowfoot wrench in my life because I needed it for one very specific situation. I don't think I've ever used it since.

i highly recommend them. you can change them from ft/lbs to NM, and the smaller one goes from ft/lbs to in/lbs. i've been using them for a few years now and they are pretty tough and the battery lasts forever. makes an audible tone as you approach torque spec, then displays the torque you went to. i'm not sure how accurate it is, but it displays tenths as well.
they add a little bulk- i couldn't use it for my driveshaft install, but for stuff like rotor hat hardware, its perfect.

Here are all the places that responded back and approximate prices. Some of them have local B&M stores so you can just drop it off and avoid shipping. Note that some offer slightly better SLAs, turn-around time, etc. so shop around a bit.

The price is generally based on the torque rating of the wrench, and "20-250" seems to be a common range for these 1/2" drive ones.

JM Test Systems: $110
Fastenal: $35
MATsolutions: $57
Greenslade: $50
Davis Instruments: $55
Accura Calibration: $55

I will likely go with Fastenal because they have a local store and the price is great. Otherwise, MATsolutions is pretty close to me too.
