Has anyone used SeatDoctors?
I have few scratches on the passenger seat of my car. I came across this site who provides seat dyes and wanted to see if anyone has used them before?
I emailed the guy and he actually asked me to take a photo of the damage so he can tell me if his product can fix it. Off to a good start so I'll go home take a few photos and let yall know how it goes. |

Just find a local auto upholstery shop and have them do it. Most places charge $50-75. Some will even come to you and do it right in a driveway or parking lot. I've used local shops before on previous cars and the work has always been excellent. Many of them can even touch-up scratches and blemishes on plastic trim pieces (think kick plates).

What color are you seats? I am looking for something similar for my seats but I have palladium silver and I have been trouble locating a reputable dye. Recently bought a leather repair/dye kit from www.leatherworldtech.com/ for my E36 M3 Dove grey interior so will see how that turns out.

Agreed, but my point was more that you should leave it to a professional rather than trying to dye it yourself (unless you are very experienced with fabric/leather and dyes).

I have a few scratches on my passenger seat as well, ordered Colourlock dye for black novillo leather last week. Have not had the chance to use it yet personally, but a good friend used this product on his Porsche last year and had great success.
When I get around to it I can get some before and after shots if anyone is interested. |

Finally got some time to spend on the seats, wiped them down then took some pictures before and after I treated them with dye.
