Great pictures!
If I didn't already own a silver BMW, SSII would definately be in my top 2. Congrats on M3 of the month too, I think they just started it and your the first one. |

Aussei, congrats buddy. great car. The pictures look really nice. Pancho, thanks for the price note. I can live with the 70 grand price tag. After seeing these pictures, I decided to go with the silverston II my self. I was thinking dark silver, but that color looks much better. Question, does anyone know if the US models will get the park assistance for front and back or will it be on the back only. I see the European ones have them in the front. I am asking just in case, if I want to replace the bumper with an aftermarket front bumper and maybe some fog lights..

Sir Epacy, interesting observation. I have seen quite a few cars in both of these colors. I have always been an IB guy but the more I look at it in variety of lighting conditions the more perplexed I get. In some conditions it beats all other colors, but in others, it looks flat and something seems off. SSII on the hand looks good in all conditions, stays clean the longest, and is the best color to show off the M3's lines, but doesn't have the pop of IB under certain lighting. Tough decisions.

We need a lot more pictures of IB, imho.
Maybe once the M3 launches in the US I'll go around to all the dealers in my area with a camera and see what variety I can get. hah! |

Ahh, you joined here. Did Eric (CA) tell you we were on here?
I just might get the IB. So tough. Would definately like to see it in person. Let me know if you have that M6 in for service.

yeah, I float around here quite a bit. I'm usually on some of the other forums. I saw your posts and figured you're the only guy in IL with a white Maxima that's waiting for a new M3.

I think SSII on the M5 looks fantastic. It gets me gawking the most of any M5 color. Thus far not feeling so enthusiastic about it on the M3 but of course I have not seen it in person on this car.

I saw a lowered Indianapolis Red colored M5 when I was home for Thanksgiving. It looks FANTASTIC. Like utterly stunning.
