Update on my Euro E36 M3 Sedan
So I have big plans for the E36 M3 however it won't be going the way of my other M3...... I plan to keep this thing stock considering how rare it is.
OEM BMW Parts (no aftermarket stuff going on this E36) ordered are: Driver seat, backrest cover and headrest (surprisingly the OEM leather is still available) ZKW Headlights ZKW Foglights S50B32 Intake trumpets, hoses and clamps Bumper Moulding - RECEIVED Mulberry M3 carpeted mat set - RECEIVED Suspension Bushings ("Every" mount and bushing on the suspension of the car) Rear diff mounts Transmission mounts Engine Mounts Front control arms Accessory & AC belts, and tensioners/rollers Drive shaft flex disc Shifter bushings & bearings (I am putting some aftermarket stuff in here to help it last longer however, the car is not getting a short shifter) Rear muffler Aftermarket parts ordered are: H&H VANOS and DME Chips - RECEIVED Once I build my new home and get a nice big garage to keep them all in, I will be looking for an E30 M3 and an E46 M3, and, depending on how it ends up turning out, an F80 M3 There are links in my signature to both of my M3's if you care to view them or haven't seen them & I will be posting new photos of the E36 when it is all finished!!! |

Very nice.
Question for you: I understand how you want to keep it all OEM parts (or aftermarket to last longer), but why the VANOS upgrade and tune? Doesn't that go against the OEM restoration theory? |

Beautiful car (and garage plans!). We do have #41 of #45 eurospecs as a shop car (far from stock though), but the sedan is uber cool. Good luck with the project! To be real OEM why not get Bosch headlights with levelling adjustment?
Just to put it out there....we have a fully NA built S50B30 sitting around . |

When I said I am keeping it all stock, I mean stock as far as appearance is concerned. There will indeed be a few upgraded parts (to deal with issues that were common to the E36's) on the car and the DME and VANOS chips are simply plug in affairs. I can install and remove them at any time I please.

P.S. The ZKW lights are OEM BMW lights and they do have levelling adjustment and glass lenses! The ZKW lights were the ones with the built in projector on the low beam. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...67&hg=63&fg=05 |

By the way, you are more than welcome to have a ride in both of my M3's. PM me your contact info and I will call you this summer sometime. We can go for a ride in the E90 anytime after I take it out and in the E36 once I get it back here. |

My love for BMW started with the E36s (and still have love for them). I am contemplating building an E36 M3 Turbo again but funds will tell for that one. I will post a link to our website once launched this weekend, both of our S50B32 and AA Supercharged (only 2 in the world) were in Oct 2011 Bimmer Magazine and are on the site. I am looking forward to the updates, as well as more pics! If I could be of any assistance I'd love to help. |

And although I can't confirm yet, I "may" be attending the BMW Driving School in August.
