do you have any dyno graphs of the full system? does it come catless or 100/200 cell cats?

the main reason i sold my GT2 was because of very little power gain, loved the sound though but im very interested to see how much power the kreissieg is making...never looked into it before because of price

Kreissieg doesnt have any dyno plot of it off hand that i am aware of, but i will of course ask. Their X pipe actually retains the primary cat. As you know the primary car removal is probably the biggest horsepower gain area, so it may not be the highest HP level, but it will not throw a CEL or have a foul smell either. Of course you can go with a full catless X pipe from another maker as well if you prefer. Kreissiegs systems are a great blend of gains, daily driving enjoyment, and the great, push of a button, F1 sound!

Out of curiosity, is there anyone in the So Cal area that has the Kreissieg exhaust system? Would love to meet up and hear it. I am in Los Angeles.

hey man, quick question. When you hooked up the wireless module, did you hook the power up to the battery directly or splice it into an accessories wire? I bought an M3 with that exhaust intstalled from 2 owners ago and the battery dies after a 5 days. The exhaust is hooked up directly to the battery, so im assuming that might be an issue cuz after testing it with a multimeter, i pulled about 12v. When i dissconnect it from the bat it closes the valves so it wont let me keep them open unless connected to the battery....

any suggestions?

If any accessory draws a fair amount of current all of the time, it should be wired to a 12V switched line that shuts off with the car off. You can check the module for current draw with an ammeter connected in series with the 12V supply line to the module. It doesn't seem like a wireless would pull over 100 milliamps (1/10th amp). Maybe the exhaust valve itself is drawing current all of the time to keep it open and should instead be defaulting to closed when the car is off? In that case you would need some kind of switch on it, or wire it to a switched 12V line.

The exhaust should be normally open (engine off). When you press the switch, there is a vacuum solenoid that should release vacuum pressure to the valve actuator to close the valve. Check that this solenoid is operating normally, meaning that there is constant current to the solenoid and the solenoid is activating constantly and not somehow getting switched off after 20-30 secs.

Might also be a small pressure leak somewhere.
