Meisterschaft GT2 + Xpipe?

Hi,

I currently have a Meisterschaft GT2 exhaust and would like to add an Xpipe. However, I have been reading lately that when doing so, the car becomes unbearable and un-drivable.

My intention is to get a deeper louder sound but no rasp. Is there a way of doing this? My investigation says that I need a quad resonated xpipe?

A penny for your thoughts.

Thanks

Ed

Sub.

I have the meisterschaft GT and was debating about getting a X pipe the other day. All my search leads to the meisterschaft gets crazy loud and raspy with Xpipe. So curious to know what you find and your result. The RKP x pipe seems like a good choice as they have different options available.

I have the gt2 and thinking about either the Macht schnell or bimmerworld xpipe.

I would go test pipes but I would like to interchange with stock xpipe once inspection time comes around.

I have the gt2 with all 4 cats deleted. Acm test pipes and fabspeed secondary bypass with resonators. It's insanely loud. Sounds amazing though. Gt2 with a gintani x pipe will probably be even louder. Also forgot to add Gintani tune as well.

This

No inspection in FL but easier to swap the stock when time comes to sell the car

Does anybody have any objection to installing a Top Speed Quad resonated xpipe with the Meistershaft GT2?

Update for those interested.

I went ahead and installed a catless quad resonated Xpipe. As expected there is noticiable smell, maybe too much. As for sound...it sounds good but there is rasp, yes, even with 4 resonators. Between 2500 and 3000 there is rasp. I will upload a video maybe later tonight.

I will leave the car like that for a few weeks. if I still dont enjoy it, I will add HFC and see if that helps with smell and sound.

Will keep everybody posted.

Definitely post some videos when you get a chance.

I just paired a gintani catless x pipe with 2 resonators to my MPE and while I do like the more aggressive sound, I'm also thinking about adding a high flow cat to reduce some rasp and smell.

Was thinking of swapping out my testpipe + oem x pipe combo for a topspeed quad resonated x pipe. Looking forward to seeing your video!

Hey I ended up buying these quad res xpipes as well waiting for delivery still, do you smell the fumes with windows up as well? I plan on welding the top and bottom part together instead of clamping them to ensure no leaks and vibration as soon as they come in.. I’m already anticipating how loud this will get with my AA exhaust.. hoping the rasp is minimized but we’ll see, post up some vids man curious how yours sound

Just added the GT2 with an RKP X Pipe Street so I still have my stock Primary cats and it's pretty loud. I had MPE v2 prior and it's a night and day difference. If I deleted the primary cats I don't think there would be any need for the radio since I wouldn't be able to hear anything over the exhaust.

I'm running a gt with test pipes and rpk mid section. It's loud but being supercharged with a 625 with a smaller pulley. I deal with it.

Sometimes I wish it wasn't so loud, then I just drive my stock Tundra.

Paired my GT2 with a Dinan midpipe and it’s perfect to me.
