I do not understand why people get so butt hurt over this lol. People have a right to do what they want with their cars.

There are people retrofitting all sorts of M looks (exhaust, bumpers, Steering Wheels, and more) … but do not slap the M badge on it or you will get shat on and ridiculed🙄

I’ve owned base, M-sport, Alpina, and ///M cars.

Fitting exhaust, bumpers, steering wheels, etc on a non ///M is not the same as slapping a badge on. The ///M parts are often a significant aesthetic improvement over non ///M components. Those mods actually improve the appearance of the vehicle.

Slapping an ///M badge on doesn’t improve the appearance - it’s a poser move to trick non-enthusiast populations into believing your car is something it isn’t.

Like you said - to each their own - including those of us who don’t like it.

Oh my… oh my! I do not lose sleep over what someone wants to do to their car/cars. It is their property 🤷🏽

It's not an M and you will find out in the streets or at the track. I was not aware that we have BMW patent holders in here 🙄

there was an F30 330i Gran Coupe parked in front of our physical therapist office with an M3 badge on the back. Not only was the rebadging crooked but you could still see the weathered remnants of 330 behind it. I would have taken a picture but there was a large man sitting in it glaring at me.
