Nut dropped in rear suspension section(pic included)

Hello,

I dropped small nut in rear suspension.

Anyone know how to reach there?

Take out the insulation and use a telescoping magnet. I always have one of those laying around for these situations. Should be able to grab it with one of those

Yeah like poster above; flexible magnet and I also had a borescope to get a visual on it.

Hi reviving this thread. What is behind the insulation? Are there more openings to retrieve whatever fell in? Just curious as I believe I may have a nut or two rattling around in there.

Thanks for the pic Roastbeef but I guess it doesn't really increase chances of retrieving any lost nuts because it appears there are no additional holes to use a mag tool.

Had to fish out a few nuts in that crevice before. Not really any easy way to get them out. Takes some patience and a flexible magnet to get them out.

There is also a rubber grommet inside the fender that could possible help with lifting the nut up. I dropped my shock nut there and took me 3 hours to get back..

Well I bought a.2.ft.flexible magnet tool and I got some nuts and spacers out in like 2 min. I consider myself very lucky!
