EDC button is missing

Hi everyone,

A bit of a weird issue I actually just recently noticed with this car. I bought this M3 a year and a half ago and never really thought of this as an issue. The car does come with EDC since I could see the wires at the top of the shock tower but it seems like there's no button to control it next to my shifter. It's just got a generic blank plate there. Has anyone ever encountered something like this? Is it a factory error? I don't see why anyone would remove that one button and replace it with a blank considering the car had stock suspension all it's life (I believe).

Run your VIN, if option is listed under "wheels" then you have EDC

Well it seems like the car has EDC but I wonder why the button isn't there haha

The last owner probably had coils and coded out edc.

Could have bought a blank plate. Those buttons fall off easily.
