In the front, Only the lower control arm affects roll center? The Tie rods are for bumpsteer, and the thrust arms are for caster. Is that correct?

So for the front roll center correction what did you do to the LCA? I heard mention that the SPL arm will correct but I don’t see how.
** Edit: Nevermind I see now it appears to have the same shim arrangement that their tie rod ends have. So using these you can space the attachment point downwards. I’m guessing you would use the same shim amount you used on the tie rod end? |

Got the car aligned and with the bushings in it aligned properly. Clearly after bushing install the alignment in the rear was way off spec.

I guess I'll see some of you at Laguna Seca 11/28. Will be in my M3 or Supra, depending on how the car is after getting beat up at Buttonwillow 11/26

Bump steer
I have those SPL tie rod ends. I don’t recall all those shims in there.
I hear a loud pop when turning hard. Have never been able to figure it out. My suspension is all SPL arms, AST 5300 coil overs. Who is good with alignment and knows these parts in the LA area? [/QUOTE]

Nothing like that for me. Minicorsa is up in LA and is a track oriented shop. Down in OC we have MRF and EAS.

The subframe bushes are machined down so that the subframe is as close to the body of the car as possible, and then the diff is lifted, which involves cutting the floor, then the diff is sat up inside the car.
