In the front,

Only the lower control arm affects roll center? The Tie rods are for bumpsteer, and the thrust arms are for caster.

Is that correct?

So for the front roll center correction what did you do to the LCA? I heard mention that the SPL arm will correct but I don’t see how.

** Edit: Nevermind I see now it appears to have the same shim arrangement that their tie rod ends have. So using these you can space the attachment point downwards. I’m guessing you would use the same shim amount you used on the tie rod end?

I missed the September 5th laguna track day. Could get a nanny in time, had to stay home and help with the baby. The next laguna track day available is Nov 27th. That's is too far away so planning to be at Buttonwillow Oct 9-10. I'll update soon. With new born here my time is scarce.

Got the car aligned and with the bushings in it aligned properly.
Clearly after bushing install the alignment in the rear was way off spec.

Bunch of us is planning to go to Laguna 11/27 or 11/28, not sure which it will be. I think leaning towards 11/28

With the amount your spending on parts, pretty sure you can afford a room for the night. 😀

With all the money being spent on the E92, he wants the E92 to put out during camping

I guess I'll see some of you at Laguna Seca 11/28. Will be in my M3 or Supra, depending on how the car is after getting beat up at Buttonwillow 11/26

Bump steer

I have those SPL tie rod ends. I don’t recall all those shims in there.
I hear a loud pop when turning hard. Have never been able to figure it out.

My suspension is all SPL arms, AST 5300 coil overs.

Who is good with alignment and knows these parts in the LA area?

Nothing like that for me. Minicorsa is up in LA and is a track oriented shop. Down in OC we have MRF and EAS.

The subframe bushes are machined down so that the subframe is as close to the body of the car as possible, and then the diff is lifted, which involves cutting the floor, then the diff is sat up inside the car.

Did this cure the understeer you were getting in the end?!

Yea it helped. But understeer was improved with more caster.

That’s interesting that the caster would effect front end grip isn’t it?
How much do you feel the roll centre correction you did in the rear helped?
