Wow - the E85 numbers look great. Very impressive. Im at stage 2 fully cat less and alpines tune really woke the car up. May have to get the E85 map but I don't daily the car. Would there be any issues with e85 sitting in the tank and lines?

Anyone know of E85 stations in north NJ?

Loaded Alex's 93 tune a couple of days ago. I made a 175 mile trip to the north Georgia mountains from Murfreesboro TN. yesterday and the car performed flawlessly. Pulled strong, noticeable torque gain across the band and though I didn't track it, mileage definitely better on a long haul. Going to go carve corners on Blood Mountain today. While not quite "The tail of the dragon", lots of fun turns and switch backs.

Scheduled to have Alex do the GTS dct tune next Wednesday, hopefully the icing on the cake!

Highly recommend Alex's tunes and services!

Update on my coding/tune- ALEX IS THE MAN! He spent over 3 hours late into last night and a couple hours tonight to overcome multiple issues that appeared to be caused by the Noco Genius charger/maintainer that was connected to the car during the tuning. The tunes would error out repeatedly between 20-50% complete. We unhooked the charger and both tunes went in without interruption. VICTORY!

I was coming from a Dinan tune/DCT coding and the difference is night and day. Today prior to the tune, the DCT coding was apparent. Super smooth in automatic and lightning quick when I was hustling.

Tonight after the tune finally found its way to the ECU, I took it for a drive and the car feels like a beast now. 93 Stage 2 tune, removed cold start.

Huge appreciation for Alex’s dedication to customer service and the quality of the product.

If you are looking for a tune, there are options but I guarantee you won’t find a better overall experience anywhere else.

Thanks Alex!!!!

What would you say, if any, is the noticeable difference between the Dinan DCT tune and Alex's GTS tune? I have a Dinan and really noticed no difference afterwards other than the car goes straight to drive instead of sport.

Sequential*

I've only read that the DINAN one has a bit sharper shifts.

Maybe it was the cleared adaptations or something, but it shifts smoother in D and is less “chuggy” in stop and go traffic.

I've always been curious hope you can shed insight but what are the main differences between the raw GTS transmission flash and the modified ones that vendors sell?

This has been covered multiple times in the old DCT thread, if you are curious please look it up and read the 20 odd pages. We are already off subject of this thread, this is about the motor tune.

With the motor tune & everything else I always try to do everything on the latest version of software. This DCT flash is many years old, I was the first to offer it I think 9 to 10 years ago, I constantly look at changes and make sure everything is update to date, maybe yours had a older base file and maybe X has been using the same version since they started offering it 3-4 years ago.

I am not much of a seller, and as you can see i never even make my own threads really. It is all you great people who spread the word and I appreciate you all dearly. What I am trying to get to is, this might be new to you but I have been around for many years I just never really branded, advertised or put myself out there. For me people usually asked me "hey you have this" or "hey can you do this" and they spread the word after they get it.

Got my tune installed and I love it, only issue is I asked for the cold start delete and the cold start cycle still seems to be in effect, but I’m not positive. Anybody else have this “issue”?

Just had Stage 2 with cold start delete tune installed. This morning was my first true cold start since then and i can verify that my cold start is indeed removed. Smooth start up, no neighbors awakened or car alarms set off.

I got my map request email from Alex, but it says "please do not include any questions with your map request" so I'll ask here: can you code "cold start rev limit protection" (NOT cold start delete)?

Rev limit protection is included in every cold start delete request. The rev limit starts at 3500 and goes up as the car warms up

Also you can email any question you like prior to making your map request to alex@alpinemss.com. Only send your final request to files

Oh, yes, I understood that you didn't want questions asked in the actual map request email, but figured it would be beneficial to ask and get an answer here publicly. Sorry if I implied that you don't want receive questions via email!

Only difference is MS Pulleys and remap (both runs had K&N drop in filter and test pipes). Stock E9Xs here in Brazil are putting down 315-330whp stock.

Cool thanks! I have almost the same mods. Hoping to dyno close to yours. Just loaded the E85 tune and it feels great.
