I am looking at getting a set of these to fit on OEM 19inch wheels.

Would these sizes fit?
245/35/19 - Front
275/35/19 - Rear

Also what tire pressure?

Better to go with 255/35 & 275/35, IMO, to retain the stock stagger (many have said the fit OEM wheels fine). I run stock pressure on the street.

After a few hundred miles, impressions are, good turn in and out. More road noise and awesome hydroplaning resistance.

I'm running 15mm (front) and 12mm (rear) dropped on Ground Controls. What is the optimal size I should go? I want to do the 255 and 275 setup but might run into rubbing issues. Should I stay with the stock sizes of 245 and 265?

Their sizes are limited and AFAIK they don't carry stock sizes in 18's. Not sure about 19's.

More road noise?? I felt like the Vreds had a lot LESS road noise then the stock PS2's. Maybe it's just me.

Dude, if you're worried about rubbing then don't get the 255/275 combo and go for 245/265. I'm running the 255/275 combo and it's not even close to rubbing, so I'm pretty sure you should be fine. Even if it does RUB, you have ground control, no? Just my .02

I just went to Vred's site and wasn't able to find a size that fit the rear on my stock 19s. Can someone explain how people with stock 19's using these tires? I admit I am an extreme novice with tires and begging for some enlightenment.

Current setup is: What is the recommended size Ultrac Sessanta to get?
Front: 245/35 - 19
Rear: 265/35 - 19

thanks

No problems at all- we are only talking less than one centimeter actual contact patch per side

You can go with 255s up front if you want to keep the ratio the same, I went with 245s in front.

I have read nothing but outstanding reviews of all their tires. Just have no idea who sells them.

Postings 309, 326, & 356 in this thread all have contact info for Vredestein dealers. The one's listed in 326 & 356 will ship the tires.

These are great tires for the road and even on the track. They also wear extremely well. They're just a little louder on impacts and the sidewalk is a little stiffer than the PIlot Sports.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

It's been lashing here in San Diego for the last few days. Heavy rain and water buildups everywhere. These tires are awesome in the rain, no sliding and smooth "sailing" through large patches of water.

We are Vredestein dealers and can get them for anyone interested.

the Ultrac Sessanta has been working beautifully on our cars as well as our customers'.

since, it's winter here in Chicago, we have also been offering the Wintrac Xtreme. Same quality and great winter performance.

Overall, i think the Vreds are the most underrated tire.

I have been super pleased with them. 11k on mine now with 7.5/32s front & 6/32s rear remaining.

You could probably go 275/35 front & 295/30 rear, depending on offsets. Personally, I would not run that wide a front tire due to hydroplaning and steering precision issues. Those wheel widths are looks over performance.

Hydroplaning?

I went 255 fronts, 275 rears. Have run about 400 miles on them to break them in. I've noticed a tad bit harsher ride, and definitely a touch more road noise. No big deal in my book and worth the $$$ saved. But when a moderate rain started a few days ago .... wow, much more hydroplaning than I was getting with the PS2's. Are people out there really getting better wet performance from these tires? Or is this hydroplaning all just due to going wider than the stock PS2's?
