Well I at least got the interior cleaned :)
My new used M is quite filthy. Used some 1Z Einszett Plastic and Vinyl Deep cleaner on the interior, and it made a huge difference! Hopefully I can get to detailing the outside soon, but it needs a lot of tender care. May need a professional, TBH.

Congratulations. I'm sure you're really going to enjoy it. You did a nice job on the interior.
What are the two inner set of buttons on the right side of the steering wheel? They are different than my 2008 E92. |

Zed, that's awesome. I know not too many folks drove it....think it's been on the lot for awhile.
I got a good deal, and the PPI was all good...just some minor issues to fix, but since I'm keeping her for the long haul, that's no biggie |

One thing I can't figure out how to clean is the dead pedal...it still had the original plastic covering on, with some tears, so I took that off, but the aluminum underneath is now etched and dirty, and I couldn't get it clean....wondering if I need to try some kind of metal polish....?? |

Just started looking for an M. I'm like afraid of the bamboo beige just feel like it's going to get dirty so quick. But does look like when it's clean on the darker colors

I think as long as you wipe down the leather often with water-based cleaners or even damp microfiber, it will be fine. I used the 1z einszett plastic and vinyl deep cleaner on this one, and it worked wonders. Now I can prob maintain with just water or my Adams leather cleaner. I love the bamboo in person....most pics don't do it justice
