there is no way you get 250-300 miles per tank. E85 burns ~28% more than regular gasoline.

Dude - you cannot accurately measure mpg by looking at your gauge as the tank isn't perfectly symmetrical - that never works.

You must fill the tank to completely full, then drive for a while, note the exact miles driven, then fill tank all the way back up, then divide miles driven by gallons poured back in. This is the only way to do it accurately.

My money says you're at ~250 miles for a full tank (16 gallons) mostly freeway, at best.

Even with highway driving I can't get close to 200 miles with full e85. Just not possible I'm averaging like 120-160

After having the car and tune for a while. I'd say 250 is a good assumption for a full tank all highway not beating on it.

17hp is the total you get from the tune in the first place
There is another person who posted their dyno that gained 16whp from tune to tune.

Something is up in that case

A tune gets 10 or 15whp. If someone gets 15whp more on tune b than tune a, something is wrong. No one is able to get 30whp on a s65 with only a tune.

When something is impossible there are other reasons for whatever we see

There's a few tricks that tuners use to manipulate Dyno resutls from a tune.
1) clear adaptations when flashing the new tune, then Dyno immediately. This is good for about 10-15 whp gain.
2) run multiple runs, turn off the car for 10 mins, start it up and make another run. This is good for about 10 whp.

This is actually a very old debate about tunes. I've seen the same claims you did, but I've never seen anybody report back results after two weeks to see if the gains were still there. Kind of a way to see if there was any bs at the Dyno. Oh yes, lots of people have sworn by the tuner and gains. But none, not a single one, has ever come back to report results after promising to Dyno again after two weeks. I think that's the real story to tell you if the claims were true or not.

Is there a problem with the pump when using 100% E85 fuel?

Do you simply use a specific song or a kit like AFD or eFlexFuel?

In this thread, the OP used a specific Tune. The disadvantage is that you can't run a mix or switch between 100% or 100% e85. The advantage is that install is as simple as flashing your ecu.

The proflex from advanced fuel dynamics allows you to run a mix, switch back and for between fuels on the fly and it will generally adapt for the % of e85 without issue. However it requires install and is about $1200 (I think)

How much difference does the 93 file feel compared to the e85 file
