2011 E90 Finally Time Sell - Pricing Thoughts

Looking for some real world guidance from the community.

After over 10 years, I've decided to sell my loaded white 2011 E90 M3 competition (DCT). If I had a 3 car garage I would absolutely keep it but it is time for something new. The car has almost 100,000 miles and is in really good condition. People are shocked when I tell them the year. No dings / curb rash and all records. One 5 mph wreck years ago where another BMW frigging brake checked me at at a yield sign. It has been a solid daily driver.....Never tracked, launched or abused! (I'm old!)

I looked on Autotrader and there are none of these for sale. So the question is what should be the selling price. I am looking for a realistic amount where the car would sell within a month or so. And no, I have not changed the rod bearings.

Thanks!

Start at mid 20's and go from there depending if you have any other big service items done.

I'd say much closer to 30k given that it's a last year E90, and if it's as pristine as you say.

List at 33 and accept offers if you want to sell in a month. In my experience, a lot of e90 owners who say they want to sell their car greatly overvalue what they're worth, based on emotion. The other half think it's still 2021, and are completely delusional in how much they think they're worth.

it's an '11, not a '13.. but i do agree with starting closer to 30k.

Ozam how many owners before you? Point of reference -- I paid 22K for an '11 non-comp with 148k miles and too many owners. it did have rod bearing, TAs and water pump done already though.

Thanks for all the responses. I do not want to be delusional!! It does look great but pristine is pushing it! It is definitely not perfect....little imperfections here and there, but nothing really particularly noticeable. The only two customizations are (1) a rear camera and (2) an MPorium undertray sold on this forum (I had replaced the stock one three times!). I bought the car from my dentist's wife (who hauled around two young kids in the back) back in January 2013 so I've owned it for 11 years.

Unless I am misunderstanding the intent of your model year comment, just to clarify E90 M3s went through 2011 and E92 M3s were produced through model year 2013. So 2011 was last year of the E90 run and coincidentally the only year the competition package was available.

I don't follow the market super closely because I am not in the market to sell or purchase at the moment, but I do look at the instagram account M3List and it seems like the pricing varies a lot. I paid 23k for my 84k mile 2010 E90 back in 2019 but the market is a little different now.

But I would agree based on your mileage I think listing between 27k-30k would be fair.

Best of luck with the sale.
