2013 E93 Trunk/Boot closed. Help needed

Battery changing was going on. Old and new battery was outside of the car. Accidentally was trunk closed and now it can't be opened electrically.

Cant find any help from Youtube etc.

Any help friends?

Roof up or down? Trying to remember from my e93 but I thought there was a ski bag latch thing that connected through, I could be misremembering though.

You could probably hook up the battery with jumper cables at the engine side terminals just to power it for a minute.

This is such an easy problem to have. Just pop the hood and apply 12V to the jump-start terminals.
