With AD08R I get about 30k kms front, 20k kms rear. Mostly street miles. I'm hoping AD09 will be near that.

What camber/toe settings did you run?

-2.5 deg front, -1.5 deg rear. But I do rotate left-right to balance camber wear, and I use the tires down to the wear markers.

how does rotating left to right balance camber wear? you're flipping the wheel over, so it's still wearing the inside more than the outside. what am i missing?

Track layouts and corners wear tires differently. Often it’s not a balanced number or rights / lefts and their respective speeds, camber/off camber, length, etc.

Generally, most tracks wear one side or corner more than others. So you may get uneven camber wear despite both sides of an axle having the same camber setting. Rotating side to side can help this.

For example, at one of my local tracks, I get camber wear on the front left but basically none on the front right. So rotating side to side can help even out the wear.
Could this be fixed by adjusting the camber? Yes. But I don't want to have to change camber for each track I visit. I'd much prefer to just rotate tires based on how they wear since I'll be doing that anyways to maximum tire longevity

makes sense, yeah. i just remembered Redd saying that he doesn't track as much anymore (maybe i'm mis-remembering), hence the question.

I run about -3 degree camber all the time. When I was still tracking, camber wear sort of evened out itself (track wears outer edge). Now that I do mainly street miles, it tends to wear the inside edge.

AD08R is a symmetrical (directional) tire. I remove the tire from the wheel and swap it left-right so what used to be inside edge is outside edge after the rotation. This helps to balance out inside edge camber wear.
