currently running:

Year/model BMW:
2008 E90 M3

OEM Wheels/offset:
Front: OEM style 219m (18")
Rear: OEM style 219m

Tire size:
Front: Michelin PS4S, 245/40-18
Rear: Michelin PS4S, 265/40-18

Suspension:
OEM EDC (no ZCP in 2008) but I'm considering swapping over to full ZCP suspension (10mm drop) or potentially swift springs.

What would work best? I'm guessing 15/12 F/R would still be a no-rub fittment? And what length lugs?

Thank you!
15mm front and a 12mm rear would be a perfect size for your 219 wheels. We include the lugs with our kits so no need to buy separate lugs. This setup will also work on ZCP suspension as well.

Here is an example of a similar e90 M3 running that setup

Hey kevin@eas,

Curious what suspension this e90 is running with the 219 wheels and 12/15 spacers?

Lowered on Swift springs. Ended up using 10mm spacers in the back due to slight rubbing, but most find 12 mm doable.

Just Added the following Macht Schnell components:
15mm in the front
12mm in the rear
Stage 2 air intake

Just installed Eibach Pro Kit springs on my '12 E93 M3 (convertible) on stock 220M wheels and stock tire size. Any suggestions for spacers on this setup? The top is down 99% of the time so there is more weight on the back.. definitely could use some spacers, just want to be sure I'm not rubbing, and not looking for a too aggressive stance, just something to push the wheels out a bit to look better overall.

With the 220M wheels you can run a 15mm front and a 12mm rear safely with no rubbing.

Thanks.. would this give me a conservative/mild look? I'm not a fan of where it looks like the car obviously has spacers.. after putting the Eibachs on it would be nice to push the fronts out just a bit.. and I've read to go with at least 10mm spacers.. perhaps 12 in the front and 10 in the rear, or would that be too little?

It would push the wheels flush with the fenders, which is the look most are going for.

On stock 219 wheels, really depends how much its lowered and what tires you're running.

I was at 10mm, no rubbing on Pilot Super Sports. Then went to Yokohama AD08R and I got rubbing when cornering on track with coilovers. No rubbing on street driving though. I had to reduce the spacer to 5mm to get rid of rubbing. The rubbing is on the rear plastic fender liner. I cut it away a bit to get more clearance.

Good topic.

AD08s typically run a bit wider than other brands and also a bit more squared in shape, than say in comparison to Michelins.

Contemplating going with either 15/12 or 12/10 setup.

Anybody have pics of an E93 w/ 220M wheels (stock 245/265 tire sizes) with a 12mm/10mm spacer setup?

Thanks!

Unfortunately I can confirm that on a '12 E93 M3 with 220M wheels with the Eibach Pro kit and 15mm spacers on the front, while it certainly looks good, I get rubbing on the inside of the fender well when turning in either direction. Tires are Michelin PSS 245/35/19. I currently have 15mm on the front and 12mm on the rear, so I'll move the 12mm to the front to test if I still get the rubbing.. may just have to go with 12mm all around.

Update: Moved the 12mm spacers to the front and did 10mm on the rear and all is well. No more rubbing at all, and the stance looks great. No vibrations at any speed. Just had a set of new tires put on and had it professionally aligned.

2012 E93 M3
OEM 19" 220M Wheels
Front tires: 245/35/19
Rear tires: 265/35/19
Eibach Pro Kit springs (1.0" front, 0.6" rear)
OEM shocks
12.5mm front spacers
10mm rear spacers

I see a lot of people doing either 18mm in the front or 15mm in the front. I'm confused what I should do for my comp package e90 m3?

I am aiming for a near perfect flush with the fender? 15mm 12mm?

any help would be great thank you!

15mm front and 12mm rear works perfect. The 18mm front and 15mm rear is a more aggressive fitment if that is the look you are after. 15/12 is the fitment we recommend. Feel free to PM me for pictures and details.

With a 15/12 setup, will camber remain unchanged/same as factory?

Welcome.

I don't think spacer will affect camber. I could be wrong. Camber may be needed to help with outer tire rub if wheels are pushed out too far with spacers.

2013 E92 M3
19" ZCP Wheels
245/35 Front
265/35 Rear

Currrently on stock suspension but will likely be installing swift springs and upgrading to 255/275 pilot super sports. What spacing would you recommend for this setup?
