New owner- coding question
I bought my first BMW yesterday. I got a 2011 328ix without iDrive. I ordered the Tune2Air yesterday as a quick fix for streaming audio from my iPhone and may look at swapping the head unit for an Android model from ali express at some future date.
I've owned a number of VAG cars and liked using a bluetooth OBD & app combo such as the OBDEleven to tweak settings. The generic OBD unit I have seems to be able to get basic settings as expected using various apps but is Carly the default choice in for BMW's? Lastly is it possible to get my car to display the speed on the digital display? |

Alternatively, you can activate digital speed display (set BC_Digital_V = aktiv) using NSCExpert, a BMW standard software tool which is freely available. You will need to purchase a cable ($45) and of course, do some reading to learn how to setup and use the software
