Carly help quick guide?

Is there a quick guide somewhere on how to do some of the popular coding? It is really confusing.

Go back to Carly and restore to your original settings. When you go to the coding section, click the CAS module and press restore. Don't mess with the comfort access settings too much other than the mirrors fold in and hold lock to roll windows up.

When you prepare for coding the text per module/feature explains fairly well what will happen. I'd suggest you take a proper look there before you go Dismed.

Good luck

Did you end up figuring out how to just alter the mirror fold settings w/o causing any more problems? I tried same with Carly and got same issue where car only started w/fob in the slot so had to restore my coding back to original.

Which options did you change for mirror folding that caused the other problem as well?

Can't recall exactly now since I'm not connected, but I thought I turned on "comfort folding for side mirrors", but that didn't seem to make it work with the key fob remote. All that happened was that I couldn't start w/o the fob in the slot, though it's possible I also may have hit "deactivate comfort access" by accident.

Yes go back in and only enable comfort folding for side mirrors. Go into the FRM module after and check to see if comfort folding for side mirrors is an option there as well, that option has appeared on both modules on many different e9x for me. If it is present in the FRM enable it as well.

Thank you! Will try that tomorrow.

As an update, I enabled comfort folding in FRM as well and it's working now! Thanks again for the help.
