New to me M Performance seats!

Super excited to put these into my car. Had to jump on the deal when they came up for sale somewhat local.

More pics, and build thread to come on the whole car!

I am amazed how this new seating position really changes the feel of the car. Not to sound cliche, but it really does.

If the OEM seats had more height adjustment, there would be no need for these minus the tighter bolstering.

Cannot agree more! Recaro Sportster seats completely transforms how this car drives, it cannot be overstated enough.

Do the seats use back the original seat rails?

So these are the M Perf Recaros from BMW, and they come with the factory rails installed. No need to swap out the others.

I’ve seen some with Recaro rails, so assume you could run something other than what is already installed.

Ok thanks . I’m wondering if recaro has the rail for e92 M3 . Searched online, doesn’t seems to have.

Everyone most likely knows this... But I can confirm heat works via factory buttons. My car is a heated seat optioned car, so no additional wiring etc needed.

Also, thanks to Mike at BPM for the quick turnaround on my coding!

I've never felt the need to get these until now! But I have a few other things on my to do list before even considering upgrading the seats...

To me these are the best of both worlds. Recaro performance and plug and play (with coding).

So far I’ve driven around 300 miles or so and must say that are a lot firmer in the bottom . The back support and driving angle more than makes up for it though. Best way I can explain it is lower Seat position, with the base at a slight upward tilt to the steering wheel.

The seat back itself gives just enough so as not to be jarring.

Finally the alcantara centers and high leather bolsters keep you firmly in place. Although I haven’t tracked the car, some vigorous street driving certainly proved the seats up to the task of keeping me in place.

I’m 6’2” with a 38” waist and fit just fine. Doesn’t feel tight at all.

So nice! Let me know if you ever need to get rid of these 😆

Curious how much these go for second hand?

Congrats on the sick seats!
