Bimmerretrofit backup camera problems... SOLVED

Hi i hate to make this post , i installed the backup camera last night and have triple checked all connections, and the sound from the radio is cutting in and out while none of the i drive buttons and controls wont work either. I really hope someone can help while i wait to hear back from customer service.

I don't mean to insult you but did you transfer the fiber optic (Green&Black) cables over to the retrofit harness?

I just recieved an email about a firmware update to the module

Have to say they have great customer service and the firmware update has solved all isuess!!! �� the camera is working amazing and was a breeze to install myself.

The hardest part was routing the camera wire. It took me like 30 minutes to install the unit and almost 2hrs to run the camera wire from the trunk to the front. That trunk grommet was PITA!

I'm actually putting the same kit up for sale this weekend.

How would you install the software update? While mine seems to be fine, the delay when it switched to the rear camera from when I shift to reverse seems to a bit longer than when I first had it.
