The 3rd data set with BPM cat less 08 MP3 making 367 HP, you really see the result of 91 octane and perhaps old spark plugs as its hitting nowhere near 32 degrees in power band. Probably left 15-20 HP on table. Really 91, esp with tune and cat less just doesn't get the most out of these cars.

Not sure if he has changed his plugs, if not might be a good idea, 91 on NA cars isn't that bad, but he should try a little race gas next time for the heck of it, I bet those #'s would go up.

WOW! Look at the difference in VF620 and ESS 625 results.. Not the HP, both run the same setup, but look at the TQ - VF over 300lbs all the way and ESS barely cresting it.

I wonder how those cars stack up given one is MT and other is DCT.. A DCT with those power figures would be awesome

Joe's car always seems to do well, he's dynod even higher before, over 600WHP STD, his car/kit is solid for sure. There was almost a 20 degree difference between the the two dyno runs, not sure how much that played into the results. Plenty of ESS cars have hit 570+whp on a DJ as well. There is another dynojet local to many of us in Socal, called Specialty Z, and my VT3 with 12psi hit exactly the same #'s there as it did at EAS, so they are very comparable. A few years ago with the VT625 I hit 589 WHP SAE, and 597 WHP STD @ 7.15 psi @ Specialty Z.

I think a boosted 6MT needs at least 30whp more to even run with a boosted DCT, but others results may vary. If Joe comes out to the Big Willow Side by Side roll racing event, we'll be able to get some comparo runs.

Possible to post the Dyno Conditions as well as SAE/STD/UNC? Easy to see what the conditions affected.

Is that the same blue 6MT that ran a DCT car and edged it out at a SS event? if so, numbers look good. Just that TQ has to be much more fun than the other cars without it.

I absolutely love all the nerdy data!

Incredible work guys. Such thorough and educational data as well.

It's very interesting to see different AFR and Ignition curves.

Looks all the cars are throwing down great numbers.

Did the Castro Motorsport E46 M3 get any data logging love or does anyone know their final SAE figures?

Didn't RG do that? He posted temp and DA.

They ran twice first run wasn't clean the DCT car started in the 3rd not 2nd, and hit the limiter. The 2nd run was clean, if Joe didn't have the extra weight, it would have been closer I'm sure.

Doesn't look like any data logging on the E46. It looks like one run has it, but that run was run-001 and only went to 6500 RPMs. The other runs don't have any logging data. Once posted, the files will be available for download.

I think he means the comparo between Specialty-Z and EAS. I don't think I have the Specialty-Z runs. If I can get them, I'll be happy to post the requested data.

Cool! No worries guys. Can't wait to see the final DRF files from the E46 M3.

The Competition Package upgrade (ECU) adds another 15 horsepower. I have a hunch it adds a lot more than that...especially after working on some more M5/M6 dyno's (coming next).

BTW, these may all be found in the new S63 dyno database:
