First Mod Order Placed
**Updated to show pics**
For the life of me I could not get the side gills off my e90. I looked at every DIY and youtube video I could find, but it just wasn't happening. Guess ill have to go to the dealer for those. Anyhow here are some shots of the new grills, hood vents, and painted reflectors Thanks IND! **ORIGINAL** Had my M3 for a couple months now and just placed my first order for some mods! Thanks to everyone here I have been reading through a ton of threads and checking out what some of you have already done and what most start with. I went with... BMW edition grills and gills with dark tint Black hood vents Black M3 badge Painted front reflectors Ordered everything from IND . Hopefully this will spruce things up a bit! Ill put up before and after picks once I get it all installed. Then its time to look into performance mods Last edited by BatDad; 08-01-2014 at 01:31 PM.. Reason: Added pics |

I agree! Really enjoyed making the changes myself. Just wish I could have got the freakin' side gills off. Hate to go to the dealer for that lol.

Looks good! de-chroming my M was top on my list. How did the badge turn out?
For the gills, did you use the tape and pinch method? When I did mine I was kind of timid at first and about gave up but the e90's actually require a decent amount of force to detach from the clips.

I did use the tape and pinch method, but when I would give it a good amount of force the tape would come off. I did it about 5 times. I tried doing it with scotch packing tape and gorilla tape. Then I got paranoid about cracking the honeycomb. Maybe ill try again soon |

Ha I just replied to your thread. Yeah I got the gloss black badge from IND. I like it, but I think it will "flow" better once I get some gloss black exhaust tips. I've always liked black and white contrasts. I didn't notice but have you done the painted reflectors for the front bumper? I would recommend those as well
