M3 clearbra (Full hood & bumper) by HD AutoSalon PT 1.

Our last project was a SS 2010 M3, freshly driven from the dealership the only way to ensure and maintain a prestine hood and bumper from rockchips, pebbles, and scratches is to do a clearbra install using the very best Ventureshield film. Read below for further details about the process.
Being 3M and Ventureshield certified, we can warranty all work on the films that we use


1. For this car, since it is brand new, we started by claying it. By claying the surface you are not only cleaning it, but also removing any dirt or dust that has been embedded into the clear coat. Prior to claying the car, we carefully took off the hood vents. After the claying process is done, use a high quality microfiber towel to dry off the area.







We also have the option of having our professional detailer come in and do a paint restoration process for sloghtly older cars or just a quick detail to make the car have that shine before we install the clear bra. (at an additonal cost)


2. Next, we measure the amount of film needed. We start by peeling off one section of the film and slowing remove the whole sheet (this will reduce the chances of dust and particles getting trap).

After the clearbra is installed, it is best to let it bake for a few days and not wash the car at all. Stay tuned for part 2 on the bumper. Thanks for reading.

Here is the second half with pics of the bumper being wrapped. For this project, the bumper was done in a full custom finish. This is an option that is available for those who want a more custom finish with less visible lines. It does take a lot longer because of the intricate detail involved with custom wraps.

I saw this car in person. The color of the car really made me take a step back. Had never seen this color before in person.

The clear bra looked fantastic too!!!! Don't know if it was already on when I saw it, but I couldn't even tell there was a clearbra on the bumper.
