I would take it to alignment shop that does aggressive alignments. If it's rubbing up front it could be your "caster" or have too much "toe out". I test fitted my FI's with same specs as yours with 305's and it looked like it may rub on top but not on the front section of the tire.

You are having the same issue that I'm having. 295 rear is going to rub if you don't have the correct camber/height settings. I had my fenders rolled and still slightly rubbing in the front part of the fenders. I'm thinking of taking my car back and getting some final adjustments. I'm also running the same setup. PSS 265 fronts 295 rears. Brembo BBK 380 all fronts and rears. |

What brand tires? I'm rubbing on 295 Michelin PSS. Just curious do you have any slipping problems with having wider tires? I'm not sure if it's due to the temperture/weather in WA, but my PSS doesn't give me the confidence like my Conti DWS. |

The AD08's have more of a square sidewall and don't have enough stretch on the 10.5'" wheel but I'll give it a shot and see what happens. When I had the 305 AD08 with the HRE's they provided crazy good grip compared to the stock PSS's I was running, in stock sizes. My only issue with the AD08 is it needs to heat up a bit to get traction, and even summer mornings can be in the 30's up here. Once they heat up they are awesome

i had hre p40 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 all ET28 with PS2 255/35/19 and PS2 305/(30or35)/19
lower with H&R. no rub with EDC set on 1 light+ (no light, 1 light and 2 lights) i think ET23 is too much if you have EDC soft (no light). wheel goes in too much and causes rub |

I think it could help, if the drop has increased the toe (+.8ish) these could correct the toe to +.1 to +.2 which seems like it would straighten the wheel enough to provide more true camber? I will install right before I get an alignment and try it out. Weather permitting, I will get this done next week

Here is your problem
a) you are running wrong tire combo (as I mentioned via e-mail) b) you need to check your alignment We are running 275Front and 295Rear Yokohama AD08 tires with no rubbing on the same FIs. You can run 265/285 combo to ensure no rubbing. |

As mentioned before.... try running a smaller width tyre... the 295 is too wide with that ET... plus by the look of it the 295 doesnt look great.... running a slighty stretched tyre would look so much better.
If that doesnt work then definately look at your alignment. I run 20 inch rims but with 275 rear tyres... looks aggressive but no rubbing issues.

I installed the 285/30 on the rear wheels, the problems are no more! Tires do not rub!
Now, must install 265/35 tires on front wheels? Last edited by Alex-R-1; 03-23-2013 at 01:38 PM.. |

Aleks is there any advantages? The bigger the tires the more weight, which defeats the purpose of the FIs. |
