Ended up doing brake pads yesterday, but more importantly, the wheel swap and debut of gunmetal 219s as my winter wheels to replace my previous chinese replica boat anchors. $140 for new, OE front 219s made by BBS (getbmwparts)? Yes, please. Running with 5mm spacers up front and 20mm in the rear.

love gunmetal on Interlagos blue. nice stable of cars there.

Aint nothing wrong with M219s and spacers. Such a clean and understated look IMO.

Finished the CarPlay install and tried giving my ac condenser a cleaning. We'll see how long it lasts.

Just found out from Stylo328 that I need a heel pad in my life.

Also got overzealous at Lowe's this morning. It all fit, and the trim/leather survived.

Cleaned the rear seats for the first time in like 4 years so I could put a baby seat base in the back, then took it for a drive.

Price will be down to $206 in a day. I'm very happy with it, and paired it with the backup camera too. Some people go back and forth on audio issues but honestly I'm happy with the sound when paired with the individual system. For me the functionality of being able to use Waze, Google Maps, Siri to text is way more useful than the last 10% of hifi purity.

It also doesn't STOP you from using audio the old way. So if you have a Combox and want to run audio that way, you always could.

The fronts are cheap but the rears I think are $400 each.

I have two sets now, was debating using the two fronts for my winters and the two rears for a track set.

Quick Tip:
Installed my @pom GT4 Lip 2 years ago and did this simple and cheap science/engineering rubber reinforcement.. Sprayed and used 3 bottles of flex seal to inside cavities of the lip, cured it for 2 days before install.. Outcome is, it can absorb slight to mild impact to CF Lip.. until now, still in good condition after several impacts and scrapes.. 👍👍👍

Thought I would check out Lick Observatory but on the way there it rained hard and then the temps dropped to 37 degrees and my car gave me the warning snow flake symbol. On MP4S so I decided to turn around. Can see the snow at the top in the background.

Some good pics on the way back though.
