Checkout my new 360Forged Mesh 10s!

Hi all - just got these this week. I don't have the skills of the 360 photographer but I think the car looks good just the same! I really like the wheels but I am having a rubbing problem on the rear with Toyo T1-Rs that are 285/30/20. I'll talk to the 360 guys on Monday to see if they have any suggestions... Enjoy!

Wow, those look great!! Much better than with the black centers. I'm surprised you are rubbing with only springs.

Now, put BMW center caps on the wheels.

Here's the specs:

Yes I'm running Eibachs and the wheels are:

20x9 with 255/30/20
20x10 with 285/30/20

I too am surprised with a rub. Pretty disappointing actually. Otherwise, the wheels are very nice!

I think you should've had 285/25/20 in the back.

In hindsight, you're probably right but the 285/25 T1-R requires a 10.5" rim and I didn't want to go quite that wide. Additionally, the 285/30 is the most popular setup that I've seen and some people are running 305's! A lot of people are running the Nittos but they run narrow (at least that's what I've heard). I'll probably try a new alignment to increase toe-in a 1/16th and as much camber as possible. The rub is occurring on the front and outside of the tire i.e., in the 1 to 2 o'clock position if you're facing the wheel and thinking of it as a clock. It looks like there is a lot of room on the inside of the tire so my problem is the wheel offset is too aggressive for the tire I'm running.

So we'll see what the 360 guys can suggest.

Thanks,
BC

I agree with him, it's been a while since I've modded a BMW, but general rule of thumb is to go in increments of 5 not 10 for the height of the sidewall from front to rear. However, it is surprising to hear, especially with toyo's shorter than normal bolstering of the sidewalls compared to other tire makers.

Looks pretty good regardless.

Yes - I specified a 10" rim instead of 10.5" when I ordered the wheels as I wanted to make the lip a little smaller. It's still pretty big....
