I agree with your sentiment that it's an expensive purchase and you need to hear it, but you could probably find enough sound clips and reviews of the exhaust searching on this site to make your decision without hearing it in person.

It's a loud exhaust, but it's intoxicating. It has a lot of low-end personality, and fades a little on the top end (until you get an X-pipe, at which point it screams all the way).

It's a mixture between an exotic howl and a bassy brumble. It begs you to rev it at every opportunity. And you'll never stop getting compliments from it.

Thanks. I tried going that route once and it didn't work out for me The videos don't provide accurate sound and almost never capture drone. Though am glad to hear you have so many positive things to say about it

But on the other hand there are many posts detailing how loud it was for DD and the drone got to them.

Just want to be sure I absolutely love it before I go get it

Haha if I still lived in West Chester I would gladly let you hear mine. I'm going to be selling both the exhaust and pipe soon, but I'm going to try and take some high quality videos before I put it up.

It is loud for sure. Too loud for some. And drone is a lot more than the Akra. You learn to just stay in certain gears at certain speeds if you want to avoid it. Some days it bothers you. Other days you don't even notice it. Some days you just want to roll down the windows and hear nothing BUT it. Either way, good luck again!
