Blackline tail light bulb question

The turn light bulbs in my blackline tailights are currently clear/white. I'm not sure what is normal, but those are the bulbs that were in there when I bought them (used). I don't really like the white turn signals, they clash with the yellow lights in my fender side markers, and in general I think the white turn signals in the back look a little cheesy (just my opinion, not trying to be offensive). I stopped at O'Reilly to pick up yellow replacement bulbs, and when the guy looked up the rear turn signal bulbs for an '08 E90 M3 it came up with the number 7506. But, that specific size did not come in yellow/amber. 7507 did, however. Side by side, they looked very similar but the metal base on the 7507 looked slightly longer. Most importantly though, the voltage & wattage is the same on both types of bulbs. Is there any reason why I couldn't try these bulbs? Sorry if it's a stupid question, I'd just rather ask to double check before I take the time to replace the bulbs.

Thank you

What did you end up finding out?

Pretty sure the prongs on 7507 and 7506 are different.

You try the silver BMW bulbs?

Omg sorry man, didn't see this. I was told these would work, so I'm gonna order the Phillips ones and return the others from oreilly. I thought about the silver ones, but I really want the turn signals to match my fender side markers which are yellow.

Edit: for some reason the pic attachment didn't load. Oh well...

Oh cool! I did not know that. A buddy suggested those a little while ago, but he did not mention that. I'll go with those, as being from BMW it takes all the guess work out of whether or not the bulbs will fit/work.

Thanks guys!

The bulb will look silver and wont provide the egg yolk look while still blinking amber.
