Getting rod bearings done by playskool1 tonight

Excited ,getting my rod bearings done this weekend , be bearings with be arp bolts . Also getting vibra technics motor mounts installed plus transmission flush . More to come later .cant wait for ray to change them .rolling shot to drop off car

So far almost done , ray playskool1 is excellent , he took me all the pictures while doing my rod bearings.we had one bad be arp bolt , waiting on new rod bolts to come in .more to come . I am the fourth owner , no records of rod bearings on car fax , but maybe they got done who knows .mileage is 79k

those bearings are not showing much wear. I had Ray change out my rod bearings as well!

I had Ray do mine.

Mine had significant wear on one bearing and was showing copper on all of them. I'm glad I got them done.

Just PM Playskool1 and ask for a quote. You have to supply your own parts, Ray will give you a parts list to purchase in advance. For me parts cost was about $1200 + labor charge.

I came across Playskooll Ray on the BMW forum and decided to give his services a shot. We connected via m3post/Instagram and right away I got a good vibe from him. He was professional yet friendly. We set up a date to have my car worked on and right away from the appearance of his garage I could tell this person was very organized. I had the following done to my car: rod bearings were changed, dct flush and filters, differential flush, and installed vibra technics engine mounts. I dropped the car off on Thursday and was planning on picking it up Sunday night, however, we encountered some hiccups. One of the BE ARP bolt came defective and would not thread in. He let me know the situation right away and worked towards finding a solution sooner than immediately. He did additional research and found BimmerWorld to have them in stock and ordered them next day air to prevent further delay. Before the rod bearings were installed he measured the crank for clearance. He did a thorough process throughout the service and I couldn’t be more satisfied. Customer satisfaction is definitely on the top of his list of priorities as he also kept me well informed not only via telephone conversations, but via texts. He also included pictures which is a plus, as I’m a visual person. I enjoyed being in the loop every step of the way and was reassured that my M3 was in the right and safe hands. No regrets getting service from Playskool l Ray and would recommend him to anyone, anytime. My car was returned to me in the same condition it was given to him in, no additional scratches or dings. Cant’s say enough about his services. I rate him an A++++ in all areas: workmanship, professionalism and customer service.

Thanks for the info, that is definitely a great recommendation. God willing I don't ever have rod bearing issues but if I do I'll know exactly who to ask!!
