Cloth Seat Cleaning

I own a single hump basic M3 and have yet to find the right approach to deep clean the black cloth seat inserts. With time they collected dust and I also see some water or seat marks that I want to address. Does anybody have a suggestion, tried various products with little success. One webpage suggested to use shaving cream, not that desperate....yet!

Very light use of a diluted solution, agitate with drill or brush, hot water extractor, let dry

A light APC with a brush should be enough

I mix about 1 part laundry detergent and 4 parts water in a spray bottle. Best to use a low scent, spray on the stain and use a damp microfiber to agitate and wipe clean.
