I had the original 3.15 uff very long, I put 3.62 and there began my problems ... soon I will exchange ecu Oem for an Emtron and also I will put GCU brand HTG Tuning to work better the gearbox
I would strongly suggest not to go to an aftermarket ecu.

Have you driven a car that uses one? Drivability issues are nonstop

Oliver is who driftflo directed me to as well to code for the 3.62. Here in the next month or so the car should be ready - I'll update on how it goes.

I don't recall exactly but it was very reasonable.

i am working with oliver since several years now. he is pretty deep into that stuff and knows what he is talking about... but he is also pretty busy. so normally he only does diff programming for the diffs i built. i send him my customers name and then he will help this person for sure.
this is what he told me and i heard no complains from my customers. everything runs smooth after his coding...

I would not do it if this is your daily or only car...
I have the Dinan 3.62 in my '12 E92 that I purchased earlier this year, so DCT was already fully sorted. Just wanted to add another perspective since this is my daily (+ one "emergency" track weekend due to busted E36). Whilst highway cruising at 70-80mph can be a bit loud (MPE - what's not to like?), the around-town driving is delightful to have the added torque. Plus on the track, avoiding 2nd gear turns (as the 3.15 guys do) keeps the car in the power band longer without needing the 2-3 shift since I'm already in 3rd.
Verdict - just do it already!

Not a very big sample size yet - but was able to get a couple of solid sessions in this weekend at COTA with the new build including one of Driftflo's 3.62 drexler diffs & coding by his guy Oliver. No issues to report. No lag in shifting - up or down - and very pleased with the performance of the diff. Will report back after have some more track time with it, but so far so good.

The Dinan 3.62 was already on the car when I bought it, the receipts I have show it was installed in 2013. I don't see it listed on Dinan's site now, but there are plenty of options for new/rebuilt diffs.

You are very lucky. From my understanding of it the Dinan Diff was a very expensive and not very highly-sold part so there's not many of them out there on cars and they stopped production. Good news is there is other options, but that Dinan one is definitely a good one to have.

Can you clarify this for me please? Are you saying that you flashed the GTS software after the final drive change and it adapted itself to the different final drive? Are you sure that you have the proper downshift blips as before?

The GTS was done a year before with the SPS clutched for the 2018 trackday season. I had some issues under 4000 rpm, more like dislikes. Above 4000 I had no issues. Too complicated to explain, but I tried in my private message

3.62 was done for the 2019 track season and I had no issues related to that modification.

As it stands, the M3 is a dream to drive.

Very pleased to say that the downshifts are back! There is a byte in the TCU map that needs changing to reflect the new final drive ratio. This was changed and the blips are now back as they were before the final drive change.

For all those people earlier on in this thread who said that DCT box downshift operation was unaffected by the final drive mod really can’t know what they are talking about I think.

No, the new owner of this car did it. Peter of Trandaspeed, he’s started his own business and has now got the necessary tools to do this. He figured it out pretty quickly.

I’m going to build an F8x after I destroyed my AMG GTR at the Nurburgring last October.
