Cylinder 7&8 Misfire..

Hi all, other than an ABS sensor car has been driving perfectly fine for a couple of months.. Today after a 20 mile drive.. Nothing over 6000rpm. Parked up at home car had a judder and engine light came on.. Plugged it in and had a code for cylinder misfire 7 and same for 8.. Turned it all off and went in the house.. Panicked for a few hours few hours later went back into the car. Started it up. No engine lights. No judder.. Drove 7 miles with no issues at all? No idea what this could be? Local indy says could of been fuel? Have been using 99RON Tesco Momentum (UK) for about 4 months now ..any input is appreciated.. Thanks

Plugs or coils. Cylinder 7 coil is usually the first to fail.

Swap coils and see if the problem moves.

Problem has totally dissappeared and I've done about 35 miles... Could this be bad fuel? My buddy has a m140i and a F10 m5 and uses the same fuel.. He's had no issues...

Just do a little research, save up for the parts you might need, and just enjoy your car in the meantime. Sometimes shit like this happens. If the codes come back then you'll know what to do.
