Carbon fiber skinned myself. I used an OEM trim with no broken tabs or mounting points. All retaining clips are included as well.

I did have a couple low spots that I missed luckily they are in places that get hidden by the dash, so you'll never see them. Some slight scratches that I can't even capture with my cell from sanding.
