Hifi Speakers 2ohm or 4ohm?

Looking at amps and I would like some confirmation before I go ahead with it.

I know I read it somewhere but i'm having trouble finding it now using the search. I found that the underseat woofers are 2ohms.

Just wanted to confirm the front and rear speakers so that my amp is capable of 2ohms if that is what they are.

HiFi = 2ohms (mid + tweeters, underseat woofers)

Awesome thanks guys.

Now I feel better knowing for sure that they are all wired for 2ohm.

Thanks I believe the individual components are 4ohms, I've seen that back of the tweeter say 4 ohms on it. I assume the mid is also 4 ohm. But the way they are wired to the stock amp is in parallel, generating a 2 ohm load per channel.

correct
I plugged in the tweeter so you get the correct resistance

if you are buying an amp I have a JL XD700/5 amp
it puts out 100x4 for the front and rears
and 300w into a 2 ohm sub
it's a kick ass amp if I may say so myself
its in excellent condition, asking $325 shipped (it's roughly $400 new on ebay)

Thanks, but doesn't that mean it's a 3ohm load based on your tester?

I'd be interested in the amp, but i'm in Canada and shipping would probably kill the deal.

if it were a 4 ohm speaker it would read higher than that
if I recall correctly the last 4 ohm speakers I measured were 5.2ohm

send me your address by PM and I'll check shipping
I get very good rates from fedex
