Fuel pressure sensor

Eml illuminated

car running and driving correctly

Plugged in to reveal code 2722 fuel pressure sensor seems to be same as P0092

Live data saying 7 bar

Removed sensor changed for an eBay one same symptoms

So

Either crap cheap sensor or fault is seperate

Is there a fuel rail sensor that can create the same code?

Tried both my snap on and launch machines

Clear code cones back on when restarted

I had that code too and my car drove fine as well except on the track it would say fuel pump issue. Had already replaced my fuel pump and controller so fuel pressure sensor was the only thing left.

Not sure why your replacement sensor didn’t fix the problem. Maybe you should just go with OEM sensor (they’re not that expensive for a BMW part) and try again. It certainly fixed the issue on my car, (which was really just an on-track limp-mode problem, on regular street use was just fine). Good luck.
