My E92 M3 going under the computer knife and some random thoughts

Hey all,

So my E92 M3 is at the shop getting the new DCT update...fingers crossed...don't crash computer.

I check the SIB and notice the VIN range.

M3 Coupe
PY40477 – PY43362

I am guessing it is all 2008 MY DCTs. The quick math says 2885 cars are in the range and let's say 50% of them are DCT cars. Does that mean for 2008, less than 1500 cars are DCT?

Sounds Rare or is this logic flawed?
