Thermostat housing corrosion

While changing the plugs I noticed the coolant line running into the Tstat housing was very crusty looking.

Not sure if this is just indicating a leak at that hose junction? Or signs that a new thermostat is on order in the near future?

The coolant level is right at the min mark when cold.

Probably a leak, for what it’s worth, when I was swapping my thermostat, my mechanic told me to swap that line out too because he’s seen a few of them leak from there.
