show me your catalyst mount!

scored a good deal on one off ebay, now trying to figure out the best way to mount it. don't love the massive suction cup arm because of how much field of view it takes up, but also not necessarily ready to drill something.

though -- will the big center trim panel even hold something so big without coming out of the clips if i screw it to it?

Used epoxy to glue a “suction disk” down on the dash in front of what was the infotainment screen. Ran wires behind. Super sturdy and never in my windshield sight line.

I think screwing into the dash or trim is another great option.

hopefully it doesn't rip the trim panel off, but i'd imagine it'll come off hte magnet before that happens. the car for some reason has the carbon leather on the dash, even though it was spec'd with titanium shadow and has that on the doors so nbd drilling it.

That looks awesome! Some will be disappointed about trashing the carbon leather. But oh well…

yeah, i bet. but .. it doesn't match the rest of the car and wasn't in particularly good shape to begin with, so i'm ok with it. fits my philosophy for this car -- all the money on go, not a cent on show. have held strong so far!
