Need Rod Bearings done Dallas!

Hey guys,

im picking up a supercharged m3 with 54k miles. Rod bearings have NOT been done. I will be buying the kit from EAS with hardware, but i need a reputable shop to install. Anyone have a shop they work with, and associated cost?

I'd give Coulter a shout tomorrow for a quote. I think the cost can vary depending on the bearings you choose.

My BE job was around $2400.

I ended up calling them today myself. Super nice people. I was quoted $2400 with everything including engine mounts. They are closed on the weekends which sucks for those that are going to make a drive. I got to get my schedule right but looks like Ill be taking that drive!

Thanks for the post and referrals!

McKinney/Frisco/The Colony are all pretty nice. You could make a vacation out of it .

You’ll either love Mporiums location or hate it then. They are right off a small local runway and fly in community.

Nice talking with you! Just let us know when you want to book your service. With us, it can be a same day job. We have an after hours key drop and have also been known to book weekend services (for a fee) if there's no other time you can make work.

I just wanted to post real quick and thank Coulter for all his hard work!
I had a great experience with everything, and couldnt be happier with the work.
If you need ANYTHING BMW related, there is no other shop to go to.
Extremely professional, very knowledgeable, and has a pretty badass shop too.
Thanks again!

Hey have not forgotten about ya. I work for the airlines and this Covid has taken a huge toll on my company and the airlines in general. I got placed back on reserve after holding a line for quite some time. Next would be furlough.

But the job is yours, I just need to be a bit more sound, before spending that kind of money in the household.

just got back from Mporium in Dallas after doing rod bearings and I must say Coulter and his crew really know what they are doing! Super satisfied with the service and their hospitality. Im kind of glad they are that far away because I could see my wife hating me as I would be spending all my money there upgrading my car on a weekly basis.

Thanks guys for a great reference and thanks Coulter for awesome service!
