The Gintani full system produces great power but it is LOUD with the normal exhaust and still not exactly mellow with the sport exhaust.

There are other options out there but the (3) above are solid recommendations. Keep in mind all will require a tune to get rid of the CEL (check engine light) if you remove the cats like these full systems do. The tune will cost you about another $1K.

Also a 'full' system is from the headers back. You can also just do a x-pipe back system (cat-back as some call it).

Hope this helps.
As far as I know, Akra has 100cell cats. (or is it 200cell?)
Does Akra. EVO full system drone?

Here are 2 video clips of the Encore Innovation titanium exhaust my friend recorded for me the other day:

Keep in mind I have a GruppeM intake also so the engine growl will be a bit quieter overall (mid to upper rpm band).

It will cause a CEL but you can get the Akrapovic delete-R to fix that.

vanguard is about $2800 I believe... not $2k. Seems like a great system. If I were to get rid of my Encore Innovation exhaust, I would probably go for the vanguard (similar sound from what I understand, but quieter).

After reading this thread, and all the latest postings; are you guys crazy? I mean spending cubic $$$$ on some pretty, highly polished exhaust that can only really be seen when your car's on a lift? For what, a 2 - 3 lb. weight savings, and maybe a tiny bit of performance gain? Hell, you could take a dump, before your track day and lose that much weight (and likely performance too -LOL I mean, come on.

No, i'm sticking with my original plan, Remus race w/ maybe a Fabspeed X pipe in front, when - and if - I get my hands on a used E92 M3. (been looking hard, believe me) Remus says they're coming out with S connector pipes, but were unable to give me a date when they'll hit the U.S., but they speculated early Fall.

wow, that sounds like the monster 599 gto. no way as good as the gto, but the same kind of sound and pop. I like.

anyway for exaust, just turn it into a straight pipe for 200 bucks if you don't want to pay for the expensive exaust. when it come time to smog test, just put your stocker back on. LOL

Im thinking about the sosi x-pipe. I want something to make a louder exhaust note, cheap, and isnt noticable during the lease trade in. Anybody recommend the sosi?
