loved the 359's, so I got the ZCP... that was all - if the only option was still the 220's, I would have stuck with 18's

If you read the supplimental manual, BMW recommends setting the EDC to Sport mode if you are going over any obsticles or curbs this way the suspension has less bounce. Here's a quote from the manual: Quote:

Also when they reviewed IS-F they compared it with E90 M3. In that episode he said "you're cock if you don't buy an M3". The thing with Porsches, he does not like them (because of the engine placement, and he has a point) but he acknowledges them.

For those that have ZCP or those who have looked and thought about ZCP, did you notice that most of the drop (10mm) is in the front?
The rears looks identical in height (without a measuring tape) at the dealer between a non-ZCP vs a ZCP car... |

Could not agree more, the front of my previous ride was 4 inches off the ground, but the ZCP seems to be even less. From my limited experience thus far, even if you clear the front, the differential heat sink is still just as close. Fortunately I learned this lesson in my parking garage at 3 mph, instead of hwy speeds......

I liked the wheels better, was getting the EDC, so ZCP was a no brainer.
Only reason to really avoid ZCP is if you're going to go aftermarket anyway, what's the point in spending money on a package you're going to gut it out and put something else on. If you don't have over $5k like some people mentioned for their superior suspension/wheels, then maybe ZCP is for you? Who knows... It's personal preference really...

...Because with the exception of a small few who have money to burn, money/mods usually come infrequently. The ZCP may serve as a means of having a nice looking vehicle until the money is earned to modify it. The ZCP package wheels nearly pay for the package itself (..when sold on the forums). I sold mine for $2k the day after I purchased my car.

Zcp costs 2400 (I don't even remember if that's how much it is)
Sell your wheels for 2000 you're at 400 spent for EDC. Buy new wheels and tires for $3k, you are "down" $2600. Buy EDC for $1000, sell 18s for $2000, up $1k. Buy new wheels and tires for $3k, you are down 2000. So if you want to sell the 359 wheels, you are up 600 if you don't get zcp. I guess you could say the $600 is for the 10mm drop. Sorry this is sloppy I'm in financial statement analysis class on my iPhone.
